A set of instructions were printed out on paper and presented to a group of students. On these papers were instructions involving uses for one's body, one's piece of paper and one's environment including but not limited to, the students around them. The last two instructions were "Read these instructions out loud until everyone else has completed theirs" and "You are the critic of this situation, observe the participants until they have completed their instructions, you should be the last one standing." These two sets of instructions created a paradox, where two participants could theoretically be stuck in the situation forever.
