& Experience
2021
Massachusetts College of Art and Design - Boston, MA
Studied in the Studio for Interrelated Media program. Here, I learned basic technological, curatorial and professional skills. I was a member of Eventworks team from 2023-2024, where I collaborated with other students to create large-scale events, curate exhibitions and skill-share, manage social media promotion and participate in community outreach. I also had the opportunity to become a teaching assistant for three of my classes at MassArt, including two studio classes and one academic class. The SIM program also provided the resources for me to explore a variety of artistic mediums and software. Some that I am proficient in include Google Suite and Adobe Suite, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Wix, Processing and Max MSP.
2021-2025
Coat Check Supervisor
House of Blues
Boston, MA
At House of Blues, I worked at the coat check section and assisted concert and event-goers. Here, I worked face-to-face in customer service, a fast-paced cashier environment and developed superb organizational skills.
2022-2024
Gallery Assistant
Boston Cyberarts Gallery
Jamaica Plain, MA
In 2022, I had the opportunity to work at Cyberarts on a show-to-show basis. Here, I learned how to facilitate artist relations, help with gallery install/de-install and provide face-to-face customer education on the exhibits. I also helped to organize the large collection of technology and art supplies and maintained the gallery to assure that it was tidy and clean.
2024-2025
Gallery Ambassador
WNDR Museum
Boston, MA
I worked at the new interactive art museum WNDR, where I primarily helped to facilitate guest experiences in the museum, helping customers to feel comfortable interacting with the art and educating them on the pieces. I also made sure that each piece was maintained and in great condition after each shift.
2023-2024
Student Events and Exhibitions Producer
Eventworks SIM
Boston, MA
A collaborative team of students, Eventworks has existed since the 1970s and 80s. This team has been responsible for producing school and city-wide events, exhibitions, experiences and educational resources. During my time with Eventworks, we produced student raves, community movie nights, drag shows, international dance nights, student exhibitions, artistic skill-shares and even an escape room.
2025
TERC Sound Travels Independent research study
Boston, MA
Alongside 3 other students and facilitated by a SIM faculty member, I worked with TERC to gather data and research for their Sound Travels project. Here, we studied the effects of sound and noise on focus, education and everyday life. After conducting a scientific research survey with the SIM student body and working with documentary filmmakers, we finally produced Sonicxhibit, an interactive installation illustrating the data we had collected and encouraging MassArt students and visitors to think about sound on a more profound level.
